Role Description The On-Board Courier is responsible for safely accompanying and hand-carrying sensitive, high-value, or time-critical shipments on commercial or private flights, ensuring secure, timely delivery to designated recipients. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating travel itineraries, managing customs and security procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and communicating shipment status to clients and operations teams. The role also involves handling unexpected travel changes, adhering to all aviation and safety regulations, and representing Business Plane Group professionally with clients, partners, and airport personnel.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage travel logistics, including flight bookings, route planning, and coordination with operations and client contacts.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills to handle shipment records, customs forms, and delivery confirmations with accuracy.
- Clear, professional communication skills in English; proficiency in Italian and additional languages is an advantage.
- High level of reliability, integrity, and discretion when handling sensitive or high-value items.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and composure under time pressure, flight changes, or unexpected operational issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently, including short-notice departures, nights, weekends, and international trips.
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle luggage and packages within standard airline limits.
- Familiarity with airport procedures, security checks, and basic customs requirements; prior experience in logistics, aviation, or courier services is a plus.
- Valid passport, any required visas, and authorization to work in Italy; clean background suitable for airport security clearances.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to safety and service quality.
