Overview In this role you will oversee R2R activities for nine entities from our Florence SSC, ensuring accurate financial records and timely closings. You will lead a small team, collaborate with Tax, A/P, A/R, Treasury and auditors, and drive process improvements. The position sits at the heart of our global finance transformation, blending hands-on accounting with governance and optimization. You will shape robust control frameworks and support strategic financial reporting.

Retribuzione / Benefits starting compensation: 32,500K annual premio opportunity company canteen benefits in addition to standard collective agreement diversity and internal mobility emphasis Responsabilità Coordinate daily accounting activities for nine legal entities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Review journals, accruals, provisions and postings in ERP Review balance sheet reconciliations (bank, AR, taxes, payroll, fixed assets, intercompany) Monitor aged reconciliation items and drive timely resolution Assist with tax reconciliations and coordination with Tax team Prepare and provide documentation for audits Ensure compliance with policies, controls,

and approval matrices Identify risks and drive process improvements and standardization Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, reconciliations Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Procurement, Treasury, Payroll, IT, and Brand teams Coach and supervise Accounting Analyst and ensure coverage during peak periods Coordinate support for junior resources Requisiti fondamentali ~ Master's degree in Accounting, finance or related field ~7+ years' experience with GL accounting and strong IFRS/local GAAP knowledge ~ Experience with month-end and year-end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting ~ Experience in shared services or complex matrix organizations ~ Strong background in finance process improvement and system implementations (preferably SAP) ~ Experience using ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred ~ Knowledge of retail lease accounting (IFRS16) and retail business ~ Fluent in English and Italian (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills ~ collaboration ~ stakeholder management ~ problem-solving ~ SAP ~ ERP systems ~ IFRS and local GAAP
