Vacancy: Expeditor / Quality Inspector
At ARENDAL, we are looking for an experienced Expeditor / Quality Inspector to support procurement expediting, vendor inspections and quality compliance for an international EPC Oil & Gas project.
The successful candidate will monitor manufacturing progress, verify compliance with project requirements and support the timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Profile
- Degree or technical background in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials or Welding Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in procurement expediting and vendor quality inspection within EPC projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, offshore or industrial manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
- Valid authorization to work in Italy is mandatory.
- Availability to work on-site in Milan and travel to Libya or vendor facilities.
- Experience working with international EPC contractors is desirable.
Main responsibilities
- Monitor purchase orders, manufacturing schedules and vendor delivery commitments.
- Follow up with vendors and coordinate inspections at manufacturing facilities.
- Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings and quality requirements.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality records,
inspection reports and material certificates.
- Monitor manufacturing progress, identify delays and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), witness inspections and third-party inspections.
- Follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), punch lists and inspection release documentation.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, QA/QC and Logistics to support inspection and delivery requirements.
- Prepare expediting reports and delivery forecasts.

- Purchase order expediting and vendor delivery tracking.
- Material traceability and Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
- Inspection and Test Plans, Factory Acceptance Tests and inspection documentation.
- Non-Conformance Reports, corrective actions and punch list follow-up.
- Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of offshore equipment, piping, valves, pressure vessels and mechanical packages is desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API and international inspection standards is desirable.
