Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced DMC Operations Executive to join our team in Florence, Italy.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in Destination Management Company (DMC) operations, with hands-on experience managing travel services, suppliers, itineraries, transfers, guided tours, group bookings, and B2B client requirements.
Candidates must have practical knowledge of destination management operations and be capable of coordinating multiple services while ensuring smooth and efficient execution for clients and travel partners.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in DMC operations, destination management, or travel operations.
- Hands-on experience coordinating hotels, transfers, private transportation, guided tours, excursions, and other destination services.
- Proven experience in supplier coordination, quotations, reservations, confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and service follow-ups.
- Strong experience in itinerary planning, customized travel arrangements, FIT bookings, group bookings, and multi-day tours.
- Experience coordinating licensed tour guides, drivers, transportation providers, local suppliers, and other tourism service partners.
- Proven experience handling B2B clients, international tour operators, travel agencies, and overseas travel partners.
- Ability to prepare and manage quotations, cost calculations, supplier rates, client proposals, and operational documentation.
- Good understanding of net rates, markups, profit margins, supplier payments, and booking reconciliation.
- Experience managing last-minute changes, service disruptions, guest requests, and operational emergencies.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems,
reservation platforms, spreadsheets, and operational management tools.
- Excellent English communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously.
- Verifiable proof of previous professional experience is mandatory.
- Must be based in Florence or able to relocate before starting, with valid authorization to work in Italy.
- Must be available for full-time, on-site work in Florence, including weekends and public holidays when required.

- This is strictly an on-site position in Florence, Italy. Remote and hybrid arrangements are not available.
- Candidates must have direct, hands-on DMC or destination management operations experience. General customer service, basic administrative work, or unrelated travel industry experience will not qualify.
- Applicants must clearly describe the DMC companies, suppliers, booking systems, destinations, and operational responsibilities they have previously handled.
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate practical experience in supplier management, itinerary coordination, costing, B2B communication, and end-to-end booking operations.
- Relevant, verifiable professional experience is mandatory. Applications that do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered.
