Technical Agronomy Advisor (Olives and grapes, Citrus, tomatoes, peppers and nuts) - Southern Italy - €26,400 - €34,800
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Agronomy Advisor to join a growing international agribusiness, supporting farmers and distributors across Southern Italy. This is a field-based role focused on agronomic advice, farmer engagement, technical support and market development for an innovative biostimulant product.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with farmers and agricultural distributors across the region
- Provide practical agronomic advice, with a particular focus on olives and grapes
- Support growers in integrating biostimulants into existing crop programmes
- Organise farmer demonstration days and support on-farm trials
- Work closely with distributors on customer visits, technical training and market development
- Attend agricultural events and develop a strong local network
- Monitor trial results, farmer feedback and market developments
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report on market activity

The Candidate
- Degree in Agronomy, Plant Science, Plant Pathology or a related discipline
- 0-4 years' experience within agronomy, agriculture or technical sales
- Strong knowledge of plant nutrition, crop production and biostimulant use
- Experience with olives and grapes is essential
- Experience with citrus, tomatoes, peppers or nuts would be advantageous
- Confident communicating technical information to farmers and distributors
- Relationship-focused, practical and comfortable working independently
- Fluent English plus relevant Italian language skills
- Full driving licence and willingness
