Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day construction activities on a major data centre project in Milan. The successful candidate will manage subcontractors, coordinate site personnel and ensure construction works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project drawings, specifications and schedules.

Candidates should have a strong background in construction site management, ideally within data centres, MEP installations, modular construction or other complex industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily construction activities, ensuring works are completed in line with programme milestones and project specifications.
- Supervise subcontractors, site operatives and specialist installation teams.
- Coordinate construction sequencing, work permits, site access and material deliveries.
- Monitor site progress, productivity and workmanship, addressing issues before they affect the programme.
- Coordinate with the Construction Project Manager, engineers, supervisors and offsite operations teams.
- Oversee the installation and integration of building services,



structural components and modular assemblies where applicable.
- Ensure site activities comply with health and safety legislation, RAMS, quality procedures and environmental requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, progress reviews and coordination meetings.
- Identify and escalate technical issues, resource shortages and programme risks.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and progress documentation.

Candidate Requirements

- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Site Supervisor.
- Experience working on large-scale construction, industrial, commercial or infrastructure projects.
- Data centre, MEP, modular construction or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, method statements, RAMS and site safety procedures.
- Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing competing site priorities.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with demanding deadlines.
- Professional working proficiency in English; Italian would be advantageous.
