**MBDA Italia is the Italian company that is part of the multinational MBDA group, a world leader in the missile systems sector.** **MBDA represents the first Group at European level with production and design capabilities capable of covering the entire range corresponding to the current and future needs of the armed forces (land, air and sea).** Within the "**Operations / Manufacturing**" Directorate, MBDA Italia SpA is looking for an "**Industrial Engineer**". **Required Qualification**: * Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering * Minimum grade: 100 / 110 **Professional experience** Participation / management of projects for setting up integration and test lines for electromechanical equipment, RF equipment and/or optical technology, with experience between 3 and 5 years. **Activities foreseen for the role**: * Analysis of technical and producibility requirements of the product * Definition of the make/buy share based on MBDA's current and future technological matrix * Definition, in team with colleagues from design and line industrialization, of the realization, integration and testing flow * Sizing of the production line: main production means in terms of type and number * Definition of industrial product requirements (recurring and non-recurring costs, investments, lead time, test policy,…)



and monitoring of the same from the development phase to the production phase * Requirements of buy lines (SOW) * Definition and monitoring of the master plan for transfer to production in accordance with program requirements * Planning and monitoring of time and cost progress of line setup and validation activities **Professional Skills**: Knowledge and experience in: * Product life cycle (Development, Qualification and Transfer to production) of RF and/or Optical and Electromechanical equipment, preferably in the defense sector * Production processes, facilities and equipment necessary for production (Environmental Chambers, Vibration Systems, Anechoic Chambers, Test Stations) * Industrial product requirements (Cost, Lead Time, Production Capacity etc.) * Budgeting and Management of Non-recurring and Recurring Industrial Costs: program, CAPEX and OPEX * Project management * Process and rules for configuration management * Process and rules for material management (classified, weapon parts, import/export, shelf life, H&S;,…) * Preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance. Reliability/Availability, MTBF/MTTR * Digital continuity between design and manufacturing PLM / ERP -SAP / MES and related tools **Language skills**: * Good knowledge of spoken and written English **Organizational skills / Soft skills**: * Analysis / synthesis * Decision Making * Initiative * Results orientation * Prospective thinking * Building relationships
