Join Avnet's South Europe Finance team in Milan as an Accountant. You will autonomously manage the finance and accounting for an Italian entity, contributing to a multinational finance function. You'll handle month‐end closes, GAAP compliance, and intercompany activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Responsabilità
- Monitor day‐to‐day financial operations within the company
- Oversee automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP
- Handle non‐trade accounts payables and journal entries
- Prepare financial reports and manage month‐end closing and reconciliations
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities under Local and US GAAP
- Ensure integrity of accounting information and recording of transactions
- Manage cash activities and reporting, including payments
- Coordinate with Tax Authorities for audits and requests
- Maintain and review financial records including Fixed Assets Ledger
- Ensure compliance with local accounting legislation and tax laws
- Manage intercompany and bank reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and liaise with local tax/legal consultants
- Interact with auditors to resolve issues timely
- Maintain knowledge of accounting practices and apply new transactions under Local/US GAAP
Requisiti fondamentali xysqume
- Extensive experience in similar roles within Italian and international entities
- Fluent in English
- Strong understanding of administrative and accounting processes
- Extensive experience in general or tax accounting
- Familiarity with US GAAP
- Bookkeeping knowledge and accounting principles
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP
- Ability to work cross‐functionally with internal and external teams
