Overview As a Material Planner at ABB, you will secure material availability to support production plans while optimizing inventory and supply chain performance. You will drive planning improvements, ensuring a reliable material flow across the plant and collaborating with the Procurement team to improve supplier performance. Your work supports manufacturing targets and inventory management through segmentation and policy definition. This hybrid role combines hands-on MRP execution with continuous improvement to enable efficient operations. Retribuzione / Benefits Flexible working hours hybrid work options Wellbeing support Welfare plan with personalized services Canteen provided Company Productivity Premio Responsabilità Execute daily material requirements planning (MRP) activities to align material and production needs with schedules Monitor schedule adherence, expedite materials as needed, identify root causes of deviations,
and implement corrective actions Manage MRP exception messages and support cycle counting and annual inventory activities Ensure right materials are available at the right time to support uninterrupted production Support Planning & Fulfillment in aligning material availability with production targets Own inventory profiles via ABC/XYZ analysis, support product lifecycle management, and define inventory policies Collaborate with Procurement to improve on-time delivery, supplier flexibility, MOQ, and lead times Support achievement of inventory and working capital targets through PO management and supply planning Prepare and analyze inventory and supply chain performance reports to support decision-making and improvements Requisiti fondamentali ~2-3 years of experience in material planning, production planning, or related roles in manufacturing ~ Good knowledge of SAP ERP systems ~ Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Macros); Power BI a plus ~ Analytical mindset with ownership and proactive continuous improvement ~ Team player with strong communication and stakeholder management ~ Fluent in Italian and English ~ analytical mindset ~ proactive problem-solving ~ team collaboration ~ SAP ERP ~ Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros)~ Power BI
