Join us and help run what runs the world. /p h3This position reports to: /h3 pHSE Manager /p h3Your role and responsibilities /h3 pIn this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving sustainability performance in your assigned area of responsibility. Each day, you will support the implementation of the group-wide sustainability strategy and business-specific priorities by applying in-depth knowledge and offering solutions and advice. You will also showcase your expertise by providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within your own unit and across ABB. The work model for the role is: onsite /p pThis role is contributing to the Operations HSE Management in both Frosinone Ferentino ABB Sites. Main stakeholders are operational employees, managers and HSE team; externally from analytical laboratories and consultants to regulatory authorities /p h3You will be mainly accountable for: /h3 ul libRegulatory Compliance: /b Ensure company operations comply with Italian environmental laws, primarily the bLegislative Decree 152/2006 /b and regional regulations. /li libPermitting Authorizations: /b Manage and coordinate, in collaboration with the Facility Management, key environmental permits, including bAUA /b and water discharge management (Title IV). /li libWaste Management: /b Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management ensuring, with the collaboration of the Facility Management, proper classification, labeling, temporary storage, and tracking through the national systems (bRENTRI /b / registers). /li libISO 14001 ISO 50001: /b Conduct internal compliance audits, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective action plans.



Manage both the ISO 14001 ISO 50001 Management Systems. /li libHealth, Safety Environment (HSE) Liaison: /b Collaborate with the HSE Manager and external authorities during inspections and controls. /li libTraining Awareness: /b Provide ongoing training to internal staff and weekly to customers regarding best environmental sustainability practices in our ABB sites. /li liAssisting in reporting sustainability progress at Business, Country and Division level with respect to the implementation of the group-level sustainability objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as required. /li liSupporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific programs and practices to ensure a strong focus on sustainability matters, across your respective organization. /li liContributing to and/or planning and executing sustainability-related projects. /li liDeveloping project objectives and reporting the progress to management. /li /ul h3Qualifications for the role: /h3 ul liYou are highly skilled in Environmental Management /li libEducation: /b Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field. /li libExperience: /b 1-2 years of professional experience in an environmental role within manufacturing, industrial sectors, or environmental consulting firms in Italy. /li libLegal Expertise: /b In-depth knowledge of Italian environmental legislation, specifically bLegislative Decree no.
