The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level Software Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET, capable of independently delivering complete software features and taking ownership of technical solutions, while collaborating with the team on broader architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web app development: Independently design, implement, test, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET.
- API development: Build and integrate reliable, secure, and maintainable RESTful APIs.
- Technical ownership: Take responsibility for assigned features, from requirements analysis and technical design through deployment and maintenance.
- Database development: Write and optimize SQL queries, manage relational databases, and implement efficient data access using ORM frameworks.
- Problem solving: Independently investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including production bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Code quality: Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, actively participate in code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Architecture and performance: Make informed implementation decisions and contribute to discussions on application architecture, scalability, security, and performance.
- Mobile development: Contribute to the development and integration of cross-platform mobile applications when needed.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver effective and reliable solutions.
- Technical documentation: Maintain clear and practical documentation for implemented solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Solid professional experience in software development, ideally 3–5 years, with a strong focus on C#, ASP.NET Core, and web application development using Razor Views (MVC).
- Proven hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and back-end services.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for developing and maintaining web application interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with ORM frameworks, such as Entity Framework Core.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common software design patterns.
- Experience using Git and working with collaborative development and code review processes.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications independently.
- Good understanding of cloud-based application architectures, security principles, and performance optimization.
- Ability to manage assigned technical work autonomously, identify potential issues, and propose effective solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Flutter or cross-platform mobile development.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with React.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes,
or containerized environments.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with real-time, high-availability, or performance-sensitive applications.
