ORTEA S.p.A., a leading company specializing in Power Quality solutions, is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join its Service Department.
The ideal candidate has a strong electrical and technical background, excellent troubleshooting abilities and a customer-oriented approach. The role involves installation, commissioning, maintenance and technical assistance on industrial electrical equipment, both in Italy and internationally.
Key Responsabilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance of ORTEA electrical equipment and Power Quality systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical faults, identifying effective technical solutions.
- Provide on-site technical assistance and support to customers, ensuring high service standards.
- Carry out technical inspections, system checks and performance evaluations.
- Prepare accurate technical service reports, documenting activities performed, working hours and interventions completed.
- Collaborate with internal technical departments to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and applicable regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrotechnics or a related field.
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance, industrial electrical systems or technical field service, preferably within an industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Good knowledge of electrical measuring instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Previous experience with voltage stabilizers, transformers, power factor correction systems or other Power Quality equipment will be considered a strong advantage.
- Good command of English (written and spoken) – mandatory, due to regular interaction with international customers.
- Availability to travel for technical interventions in Italy and abroad.
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy and customer-oriented mindset.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driving licence (Category B).
- Residence in Cavenago di Brianza (MB) or surrounding areas, or within reasonable commuting distance from the company headquarters.
