We foster diversity and inclusion by building on our strong corporate culture. /p h3Job Description /h3 pThe Plant Quality Manager, reporting hierarchically to the Site Director of Schio Plant and functionally to the Group Quality Function, will oversee all the activities within the Quality Function of the plant including such as Customer Quality, Project Quality, Supplier Quality Assurance and Manufacturing and Supply chain Quality. /p pbMission of the position: /b /p pThe Plant Quality Manager aims to ensure that products manufactured fit for purpose and meet both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance, internal and customer expectations. He/She coordinates the activities required to meet these quality standards. /p pThe Plant Quality Manager is concerned by monitoring and advising on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standards. /p pIn this positon he/she will need to liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the quality management system is functioning properly. /p pWhere appropriate, he/she will advise on changes and how to implement them and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality standards. /p pJob is done in co-ordination,
agreement and consistency with relevant Somfy Group management and functions. /p pbMain Responsibilities: /b /p ul liDeployment of the group’s quality strategy in his/her scope: develop, maintain and improve internal quality processes and define the medium and long-term roadmap (3-5 years), ensuring compliance of processes with internal Somfy policies and standards; /li liDevelop excellence in one’s function by implementing the necessary action and continuous improvement plans; /li liCustomer satisfaction: ensure proper customer and intra-department satisfaction level; /li liEnsure compliance with processes and contribute to risk analysis, developing quality management process that minimize risks; /li liDefine the budgetary framework for its activity and manage it: participate in budget, forecasts and revisions preparation; doing necessary adjustments as per company situation and Somfy Group requirement; /li liPerformance management: set up Quality KPI and maintain periodic reporting; organize clear, quick internal external communication to any quality related issue; decide and drive immediate preventive actions to quality issues, personally drives quality problems (QP); /li liRepresent the Quality Department within cross-functional projects and ensure its implementation and contribute its business expertise to the Group’s major projects; /li liGuarantee the smooth running of its business and the Group’s other activities, in particular by engaging its teams in transversality and cooperation; /li liPeople management: support employees in his team in their mission and their development,
setting clear objectives and providing constructive feedbacks; /li liEmbodied and Promoted the culture of Customer Satisfaction and continuous improvement as well as the sharing of good practices. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum required experience in the role: 10 years on similar position in manufacturing international company. /li /ul pbTechnical Skills: /b /p ul li8D methodology, FMEA Design and Process; /li liStatistic mindset; /li liProduct/Process validation Plan; /li liSupplier contract and relationship management; /li liControl plan, safe launch concept, Process Flow Diagram; /li liManufacturing process Audit (internal external); /li liProduct and Process modification and process management; /li liDeviation request process management; /li liAbility to build continuous improvement roadmap; /li liOffice Suite (Excel...) /li liLeadership; /li liAbility to engage and support change; /li liOpeness to external stakeholders; /li liAbility to interact with external partners (Customer/Supplier..etc) /li liStrategic Mindset (ability to translate strategic orientation in the daily job). /li /ul h3Additional Information /h3 pThe position is based in Schio, but ready to travel to other Italian sites and periodically to the Headquarter in France /p pbWork Relationships: /b /p pThis position works with domain team, all departments (Project, Quality, Marketing, Distribution, Management Control, Purchasing, etc..), external partners (Suppliers, Customers, Regulatory bodies, Service Providers, etc). /p pThe protection of our candidates’ personal data is a commitment of Somfy Group.
