MBDA Italia is the Italian company that is part of the multinational MBDA group, a world leader in the missile systems sector. Within the International Trade Compliance Office (ITCO) Function, MBDA is looking for a specialist in Licenses and Exports to join the team at the Rome site. **Professional Requirements and Technical Skills:** * ✓ Degree in Law or Economic-Commercial disciplines or equivalent education * ✓ Knowledge of Italian, European and US regulations on the control of exports of armaments and “dual use” materials * ✓ Seniority in the role of no less than 5 years * ✓ Basic knowledge of tax, customs, Incoterms, ADR, TULPS regulations * ✓ Written and spoken English **Role and Responsibilities:** * ✓ Management of requests for authorizations regarding the movement of armaments and “dual use” materials to and from abroad:
* o Analysis of active and passive contracts and verification of related clauses in relation to applicable import/export regulations * o Verification of the compliance of the documentation to be presented with the applications * o Meetings with the involved company functions (Programs, Sales, Procurement, Finance) aimed at correctly framing the operation * o Preparation of the relevant applications, submission of the same and management of relations with the Authority until the authorization is issued * ✓ Management of Intangible licenses; * ✓ Reporting to the Authority on the use of authorizations; * ✓ Management of relationships with the internal client throughout the entire life cycle of the authorizations * ✓ Specialist support to company functions in export control matters * ✓ Active participation in the activities of the MBDA International Trade Compliance Office * ✓ Support for the drafting and updating of applicable company procedures * ✓ Support for internal training activities in export control & licensing **Cross-functional skills:** * ✓ Availability to study/deepen applicable regulations * ✓ Good propensity for teamwork * ✓ Ability to work under stress * ✓ Result orientation in terms of time and costs * ✓ Sensitivity to the needs of the internal customer and company objectives * ✓ Dynamism, determination to achieve set goals, precision and attention to detail
