**MBDA Italia is the Italian company that is part of the multinational MBDA group, a world leader in the missile systems sector.** **MBDA represents the first Group in Europe with production and design capabilities capable of covering the entire range corresponding to the current and future needs of the armed forces (land, air and sea).** The "OPERATIONS/MANUFACTURING" Department is looking for a resource who will support the head of the AIT & Electronic Manufacturing Engineering department for project management activities and technical management of concurrent engineering activities with the development, setup and validation of production lines for electromechanical, radio frequency and electro-optical equipment. **Activities foreseen for the role**: The selected resource will be responsible for the following activities: * Support to the department head for the technical and organizational management of a multidisciplinary technical team of approximately 20 people, junior and senior, graduates and undergraduates, in the following areas: * process and methods engineering for setting up workshops for complex equipment in the radio frequency, mechatronic, electro-optical fields * product engineering of electronic boards, systems with RF/optical sensors (Seeker, Fuze, Datalink, Antennas), RF, digital and electro-mechanical equipment (Receivers, Transmitters, Synthesizers, Computers, Actuators, Servomechanisms) for activities of * concurrent engineering with development, support for design and product qualification phases, manufacturability analysis * setup and validation of integration and testing lines * test engineering, for the industrialization and validation of test systems for functional testing of RF and digital electronic boards (Test Boundary Scan, Flying Probe,



etc.), RF/EO equipment (Anechoic Chambers, Near Field, Environmental stress systems, etc.), digital systems and data processing * management of department load-capacity, allocation of resources to projects * knowledge management (coaching/transfer/replacement) and management of training/growth plans with gap analysis * ensuring the involvement of resources for the following objectives: * concurrent engineering with Design and manufacturability feedback during prototype development until release for series production * design (flows, layout, logistics), setup and validation of electronic production lines * concurrent engineering with the Manufacturing Authority department for know-how transfer and responsibility for production support * support the Industrial Manager in the analysis of contractual documents with customers, in the planning and execution of technical activities * Define the documentation necessary for the manufacturing of products that contribute to the Manufacturing Data Package (operating procedures, work cycles, parts list and equipment drawings, etc.) for which he/she is responsible for approval * Define the necessary technical training for production personnel * Define and draft the validation plan for the entire production line, both Make and Buy lines * Validation of the production line and issuance of the relevant dossier to the customer (internal and/or external)



* Failure analysis of non-conformities found during prototype realization and define the test plan aimed at identifying and removing the cause of the failure * Use of enterprise tools (SAP/PLM/...) for process setup and specific data processing tools (Matlab, Minitab,...) * technical and programmatic progress both internally within the department and with management for the programs of competence * technical management of new investments for optimization and improvement of manufacturing processes Within this role, the resource will be responsible for: All programs that involve the development of production lines at the Fusaro and Pomigliano sites **Required educational qualification**: * Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering/Telecommunications **Professional experience**: * 10 - 15 years of experience in industrial processes and manufacturing of Electronic equipment and/or Radio Frequency equipment **Professional skills**: * Project and resource management * Good knowledge and practical experience in: * electronic manufacturing processes, particularly integration and testing of mechatronic and radio frequency equipment * complex measurement instruments and systems for the aforementioned equipment (Test Benches and Test Range) and environmental stress systems (vibration shakers, thermal chambers, etc.) * Troubleshooting and Failure Analysis * Ability to perform statistical numerical processing (key parameters of the production process, repeatability and reproducibility, etc.) and analytical processing using software tools such as Matlab/Python/Minitab and AI **Language skills**: * **Advanced English Level** **Organizational skills/Soft skills**: * Team leadership * Resource management & development * Team working * Results-oriented * Analytical and synthesis skills * Problem solving * Project Management * Digital Mind * Resilience * Communication
