Location: Brindisi, Italy or Valencia, Spain, HybridL'esperienza richiesta ai candidati, così come le competenze e le qualifiche aggiuntive necessarie per questo lavoro, sono elencate di seguito.Employment: Full-Time ContractDuration: 6 months, with potential extensionLanguage: Fluent English requiredIndustry: International Organizations / Enterprise IT / Managed ServicesAbout The OpportunityPragmatike is recruiting on behalf of a major international organization for an Application Support Technician to join a global Digital Solutions Managed Services team.You’ll support a portfolio of business-critical applications and enterprise tools, working across application maintenance, Tier-2 support, databases, Windows/Linux environments, and end-user support.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, working across different technologies, and keeping production systems reliable and available.What You’ll DoProvide day-to-day Tier-2 support and maintenance for business applications and enterprise tools.Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and escalating complex incidents when required.Perform administration and troubleshooting across MSSQL and open-source databases.Support application releases, upgrades, configuration changes, and deployments.Assist with structural application changes required during system upgrades.Support applications running across Windows and Linux environments.Respond to application-related queries from users working across different locations.Support the deployment of tools and operational processes that improve service delivery.Provide knowledge transfer to Tier-1 teams and support end-user training when required.Maintain technical documentation, system reports,
and knowledge-base content.Participate in operational meetings and collaborate with other technical teams.Contribute to special projects and provide additional technical support when required.Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule, approximately one week per month.What We’re Looking For3+ years of experience in application maintenance, application support, or general IT support.Hands-on experience supporting client/server applications.Good knowledge of database management and administration.Experience working in Windows and/or Linux environments.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent.Nice to HaveExperience administering Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and .NET applications.Knowledge of MySQL, Red Hat Linux, or Drupal.Experience with Active Directory.Familiarity with AWS and Azure.Microsoft certifications or advanced Microsoft technology training.ITIL knowledge or certification.Experience working in international or public-sector environments.Knowledge of another UN official language.Why JoinWork on business-critical applications supporting an international organization.Gain exposure to a broad enterprise technology environment spanning applications, databases, infrastructure, and cloud.Work alongside experienced technical teams in a structured managed-services environment.Opportunity to contribute to operational improvements and special technology projects.Potential contract extension based on performance.Pragmatike is committed to a fair, transparent, and inclusive recruitment process.
