Febucci is looking for a General Artist to shape the art direction and environments of an unannounced PSX-inspired game.
Location: Remote / Turin, Italy
Contract and work arrangement: Freelance, project-based initially, with potential later hiring; fully remote or hybrid in Turin. Availability from early 2027. Geographic restrictions for remote work are not specified.
What you will do
- Develop the visual direction from moodboards through finished assets and levels.
- Create mainly environment and scenery assets, small textures and atmospheric details.
- Dress levels directly in Godot and collaborate closely with the small development team.
What the studio is looking for
- A portfolio showing personal artistic style and clear authorship; character-only portfolios are not a match.
- Experience on at least one commercial project, even if it did not ship.
- Godot or Unity, 2D versatility and PSX-style asset experience are useful. The studio does not accept AI-generated portfolios.
