Role Description The Janitor role at Design Monks is a full-time, on-site position based in the 6th municipality of Naples. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in offices, common areas, restrooms, and meeting spaces. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, trash collection, surface sanitation, restocking supplies, and routine inspections of facilities. The role also involves reporting maintenance issues, supporting basic setup and cleanup for meetings or events,



and ensuring that employees and visitors experience a welcoming, well-maintained workspace. This position requires consistent attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Janitorial Services and Housekeeping, with experience in cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining office or commercial facilities.
• Ability to provide courteous Customer Service when interacting with employees, visitors, and external partners.
• Comfort with Training in proper use of cleaning equipment, safety procedures, and hygiene protocols, as well as learning new processes as needed.
• Basic understanding of Sales-related interactions, such as communicating supply needs or supporting vendor coordination for cleaning products and services.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations relevant to office environments.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
• Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail in completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance roles is preferred.
