Offer Description This study explores youth gender-based violence prevention from an ecological perspective, involving young people as recipients and potential agents of prevention, teachers, and local services, particularly anti-violence centres and public and third-sector organisations working with youth or delivering educational and awareness-raising initiatives.
It examines how these actors understand gender-based violence, which practices they consider most effective, and what conditions and resources support prevention and social change. Drawing on participants’ experiences and perspectives, it aims to advance knowledge and good practice. It focuses on whether prevention programmes, especially in schools, position young people as passive recipients or active participants. An intersectional approach amplifies frequently marginalised voices and informs programmes that respond to young people’s needs and expectations.
