Position Summary

- Responsible for providing radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by the physician.

Principal Accountabilities

Education

- Associate degree in Radiologic Science

Licenses and Certification

- ARRT
- IEMA
- BLS

Experience and Skills

- Technical Experience: N/A

Physical Activities

- Intermittent hand manipulation required
- Intermittent lifting and carrying of 50 pounds

Role Specific Responsibilities

- Deliver a prescribed and planned course of treatment accurately and efficiently, including accurate procedure preparation, and patient set-up according to the EMR
- Interface appropriately with the Radiation Oncologist, physicist, and all other support staff at the initiation of treatment, and as needed throughout a course of treatment documenting in the EMR all clinically relevant information.
- Assist with CT/Simulations and dosimetry functions as needed.
- Assist as needed in all areas of the department. Secure and stock supplies.

Compensation (Commensurate with experience)

- $35.82
- $55.52
