As a Shift Leader , you will support the Front House Manager in the daily operations of the Front Office Team, helping ensure a smooth and efficient service while contributing to a positive and memorable experience for our guests.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Front House Manager in coordinating daily Front Office operations and ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the shift.
- Welcoming guests and promptly assisting with their inquiries, requests, and needs, ensuring a professional and personalized experience.
- Handling check-in and check-out procedures, guest messages, and other Front Office tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Supporting and assisting team members in their daily activities, fostering teamwork and ensuring consistent service standards.
- Supporting the onboarding and training of new team members and interns, ensuring they are properly trained on Front Office procedures, systems, and service standards.
- Coordinating with Event Department, Housekeeping, and Maintenance to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of operational needs.
- Staying informed about hotel services, guest preferences, special requests, and upcoming events to provide accurate information and anticipate guest needs.
- Maintaining Front Desk and lobby standards, ensuring a welcoming environment and compliance with safety procedures.
- Using Front Office equipment and property management systems in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Reporting operational issues and relevant guest feedback to the Front House Manager, supporting the smooth running of the department.
Requirements
- A unique personality and a true passion for hospitality.
- +2' years experience as Shift Leader.
- Familiarity with Opera PMS for efficient operations.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve challenges and complaint resolution finesse.
- A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
- Versatility in handling various work scenarios.

Our compensation policies are based on the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Tourism Industry , which provides for 14 salary payments per year .
The total compensation package consists of the contractual base salary and provincial allowance established by the relevant salary scales, together with ad additional individual elements, to be defined during the recruitment process. These elements are designed to recognize the candidate’s professional profile, acquired skills, level of autonomy, and the responsibilities associated with the role.
For this position, we offer:
- Classification : C1 level under the CCNL Tourism Industry Agreement, determined according to the candidate’s experience, skills, and degree of autonomy required by the role.
- Compensation: Base salary aligned with the CCNL Tourism Industry salary scales for the applicable level.In compliance with the Pay Transparency regulations (Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, implementing EU Directive 2023/970), Starhotels does not request information regarding candidates' previous remuneration.
- Pay range: from €28.000 - to €30.000 gross per year - plus the following additional components :
- Meal Benefits: €8 meal vouchers for each day worked, or access to the staff canteen, depending on the working property.
- Variable Compensation:
-Performance bonus in accordance with the Company Supplementary Agreement, convertible into welfare benefits.
-Voluntary guest contributions, paid through payroll in proportion to actual work attendance.
