Electronic Hardware Designer (PCB)
Location: Segrate, Milan, Italy
Rate: €275 per day
Working Pattern: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Languages: Fluent Italian and good English
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Hardware Designer to join a leading engineering team in Segrate, Milan. Reporting to the Head of Hardware & Certifications, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and validation of analogue and digital electronic boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and test PCB electronic boards.
- Develop analogue and digital hardware using microprocessors, DSPs, and programmable logic devices.
- Debug and troubleshoot electronic systems.
- Produce technical specifications and documentation.
- Support PCB layout, firmware development, product validation, and certification activities.
- Assist production, testing, and technical support teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing analogue and digital electronic boards.
- Knowledge of communication buses, signal integrity, and power semiconductor control systems (MOSFET, IGBT, SiC, SCR).
- Proficiency with ORCAD, PSPICE, or similar design tools.
- Experience using laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Italy and internationally.
