SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER & CONTENT CREATOR — FREELANCE Valstar Milano | Milan, Italy Starting November THE ROLE We’re looking for a freelance Social Media Manager & Content Creator to manage and grow Valstar’s presence across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. We’re looking for someone creative, independent and digitally savvy, with a strong understanding of fashion, luxury and visual storytelling. Someone who can translate Valstar’s identity into engaging content, build a meaningful community around the brand and bring fresh ideas to our digital channels. The role combines social media strategy with hands-on content creation, from concept development and shooting to editing, graphic design and publishing, always working within the brand’s creative direction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Strategy & Content Planning
* Develop and manage the monthly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
* Propose creative concepts and content ideas that reflect Valstar’s identity and visual language.
* Stay up to date with platform trends, emerging formats and best practices, identifying opportunities relevant to the brand.
* Work closely with the communications team to plan and coordinate content production. TikTok Content Creation
* Independently produce TikTok content, from concept and filming to editing and publishing.
* Translate Valstar’s visual identity and storytelling into content that feels natural and engaging on the platform.
* Develop original, repeatable content formats that can evolve over time.
* Identify relevant creators, emerging voices and potential opportunities for collaboration. Visual Content & Graphic Design
* Create social media assets, including Stories, carousels, graphics and templates, following Valstar’s visual guidelines.
* Adapt photography and video content to different platforms and formats.




* Work with the communications team to maintain a consistent visual identity across all channels. Community Management
* Manage day-to-day interactions with the community across all three platforms.
* Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages, maintaining the brand’s tone of voice.
* Keep an eye on competitors, industry conversations and relevant cultural trends. Performance & Reporting
* Track content performance and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations.
* Use data to continuously refine content strategy and improve results.
* Monitor key metrics, including reach, engagement, saves, follower growth and conversions. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Proven experience in social media management and content creation, ideally within fashion, luxury or lifestyle.
* A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, including their different audiences, formats and content dynamics.
* Hands-on video production skills, including filming, editing and post-production (CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar).
* Solid graphic design skills, with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or equivalent tools.
* A strong visual sensibility and a genuine interest in fashion, design and contemporary culture.
* The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Confidence using analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics and Pinterest Analytics.
* Familiarity with Launchmetrics, Lefty, Kolsquare or similar platforms is a plus.
* Fluent English is essential; a good command of Italian is appreciated.
* Availability to attend events, shoots and other on-site activities in Milan. WORKING WITH US This is a freelance position based in Milan, working closely with Valstar’s communications and creative teams. We’re looking for someone who can bring both ideas and execution to the table: a creative thinker who’s equally comfortable behind the camera, editing a video, designing a post or analysing what makes content perform.
