- office at client site, with travel Contract: 12 months, extendable, start as soon as possible The opportunity Join the offshore engineering team of an innovative developer of long-duration offshore energy storage in Milan. You will design and validate the floating structures and mooring systems of a patented technology, from prototype to commercial units, working with universities, test basins, suppliers and classification societies. What you will do
* Design floating structures and their connections
* Design and analyse mooring systems
* Run hydrodynamic and global moored analyses
* Plan basin and sea test campaigns
* Support prototype build and installation What you bring
* MSc in naval, offshore or maritime engineering
* 4-8 years in offshore structures or moorings
* OrcaFlex, AQWA or Diodore; Ansys or Sesam FEM
* DNV, API and ISO offshore standards
* Eligible to work in the EU; fluent English
