Alexander Steele Recruitment is partnering with an established international manufacturing group to appoint a Customer Service Manager for its operations in Southern Italy. We are looking for a customer-focused professional who enjoys leading people, improving processes and developing long-term business relationships. The Opportunity Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will lead an established team of three customer service professionals while maintaining and developing relationships with key B2B customers. The business is looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, strengthen team performance and help develop a more proactive, commercially aware customer service function. This is not a traditional sales position. The focus is on delivering excellent service, developing existing customer relationships and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and develop the customer service team.
* Oversee customer orders, deliveries, enquiries and complaint resolution.
* Manage relationships with key B2B customers.
* Support pricing discussions, commercial negotiations and existing account development.
* Collaborate with production, planning and logistics teams to ensure effective service delivery.
* Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, internal processes and operational performance.
* Build a proactive, collaborative and customer-focused working environment. About You
* Experience in customer service management, customer operations or commercial support within a manufacturing environment.
* Previous experience supervising, coaching or managing employees.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Commercial awareness and confidence managing customer relationships.
* Experience coordinating with production, supply chain or logistics teams.
* Professional working proficiency in Italian and English.
* Able to work on-site in the Naples area. Experience in packaging, food & beverage, FMCG or industrial manufacturing is particularly relevant. We also welcome applications from experienced Customer Service Supervisors and Team Leaders ready to progress into a broader management position. What's on Offer?
* €50,000–€55,000 gross annual salary (RAL).
* 10% target performance premio.
