In this role you will lead the purchasing function for a multinational machinery company, shaping sourcing strategies and supplier development. You’ll align procurement with forecasts and new product development, driving cost-efficient, high-quality components. You’ll manage a global supplier network and mentor the purchasing team, delivering value through negotiation and strategic oversight. This is a hands‑on leadership role that combines strategic sourcing with team growth in a manufacturing context.

* Analyze product specifications to define sourcing strategies
* Ensure procurement aligns with forecasts, service plans, and new product development
* Develop suppliers to meet evolving standards and regulations
* Manage global suppliers and support new projects
* Build a vendor network delivering defect‑free components at competitive prices
* 7-8 years of experience as Purchasing Coordinator in heavy manufacturing
* Master's Degree in Management/Mechanical Engineering
* Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Technical Design
* Strong expertise in procurement and supplier management
* Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
