About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Junior Helpdesk Specialist to join our IT Support team. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology, good troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within a professional IT environment. The Junior Helpdesk Specialist will provide first-level technical support to end users, ensuring efficient resolution of hardware, software, and access-related issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-level technical support to employees via ticketing system, phone, email, and remote assistance tools.
* Log, classify, prioritize, and track incidents and service requests.
* Troubleshoot common issues related to:
- Windows operating systems/Office applications
- Microsoft 365 services
- Printers and peripheral devices
* Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
* Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.
* Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and standard software.
* Assist users with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, and collaboration tools. Required Skills & Experience
* Basic knowledge of IT support principles and troubleshooting methodologies.
* Familiarity with:
- Windows 10/11 environments
- Microsoft 365 fundamentals
- Active Directory basics
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
* Basic hardware troubleshooting skills (PCs, laptops, monitors, printers).
* Good problem-solving attitude and ability to learn quickly.
* Good level of English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications
* Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
* Previous internship or experience in an IT support/helpdesk role.
* Basic PowerShell knowledge is considered an advantage.
