We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Front Desk / Tour Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Role Overview
As a Front Desk / Tour Coordinator, you will be the face and voice of our operations. You will manage daily guest check-ins, assist travelers with bookings and inquiries, coordinate tour logistics, and work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests at the front desk with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage customer inquiries, tour check-ins, and booking logistics efficiently.
- Use travel booking software to process reservations, cancellations, and schedule adjustments.
- Provide clear information about our tour offerings, itineraries, and local Florence recommendations.
- Resolve customer inquiries and unexpected logistical challenges quickly with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and tour guides to support daily operations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Secondary school (High school) or equivalent (Required).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Front Desk Agent / Receptionist or similar customer service role in tourism (Required).
- Language Skills:
- English – Advanced / Fluent (Required).
- Italian – Professional proficiency (recommended).
- Additional languages are a major plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in travel booking software, reservation platforms, and basic office applications like rezdy, bokun, ventrata
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
