pMainStreaming® is an intelligent media delivery company that empowers enterprises, media, and gaming companies to ensure the best Quality of Experience to their audience, through its revolutionary AI-powered technology. /p pIt optimizes the viewing experience with its Intelligent Media Deliver Platform (iMDP), the first platform designed to guarantee full governance over the streaming process, the highest Quality of Service, and the best Return on Investment. /p pFor our brand-new office located in Milano Bicocca we are looking for a: /p h3Senior Backend Engineer/ Data Engineer /h3 pThe backend engineer we’re looking for is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing data systems and pipelines that support the organization’s data flow needs. /p pOperating within the Data Platform engineering team, you will also collaborate closely with backend/frontend teams and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable data solutions. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liBuild and maintain sbcalable data pipeline /bs for batch and real-time processing (ETL/ELT), from source systems to data lakes, warehouses and lakehouses /li liTranslate existing data models into scalable and efficient implementations /li liDevelop, test and optimize bcode for data ingestion /b, transformation and loading /li libDesign and maintain backend services and APIs /bthat expose data to internal and external consumers (e.g. UIs, Grafana dashboards), ensuring stability and performance /li liImplement validation,



monitoring and alerting to bensure data quality and integrity /b /li liMonitor and btroubleshoot data workflows /bto guarantee system stability /li liContribute to the selection of tools and frameworks for data processing and orchestration /li liCollaborate with Data Architects, Data Scientists, Analytics and backend/frontend teams to deliver reliable datasets /li liEnsure best practices through code reviews, testing and documentation /li /ul h3What We're Looking for a: /h3 ul libPASSION FOR THE PRODUCT: /b Professional attitude towards software craftsmanship including testing and a passion for writing good documentation. /li libPROACTIVITY: /b You are confident enough to self-start your project and set your priority in autonomy while working with a group of international peers. /li libEAGERNESS TO LEARN: /b You don't get scared of something new, we provide you an environment where you can improve every day. /li libTEAMWORK: /b A high degree of collaboration, we are a team, we develop and grow together. /li libENGLISH: /b Conversational level, you will share your time within an international Team. /li /ul h3Skills: /h3 ul liSolid knowledge of distributed systems and their design principles /li liExperience in API design and development /li liStrong object-oriented programming (OOP)
