with exposure to large-scale, complex applications and cross-functional teams /li /brliFluency in Java, with a deep understanding of modern software engineering principles, including: /brul /brliClean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD) /li /brliAdvanced debugging and profiling techniques, /li /brliWriting composable, maintainable, and testable code /li /br /ul /br /li /brliSpring or similar frameworks with emphasis on building secure, modular, and scalable APIs /li /brliExperience designing data models, both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ideally graph-based (Neo4j or similar) /li /brliWorking knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated deployment workflows /li /brliStrong security mindset, with practical knowledge of secure software design and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP) /li /brliComfortable with remote team collaboration, i.e. tools and practices for asynchronous communication /li /br /ul /br /brh3Bonus Points For Familiarity With /h3 /brul /brliGraph technologies: Cypher, Neo4j, knowledge graph /li /brliEvent-driven architectures, Kafka, or distributed systems /li /brliCloud-native development, observability, and performance tuning /li /brliExperience working with LLMs or integrating AI/ML into production systems /li /br /ul /br /brh3Italy only: /h3 /brpThe gross annual salary (RAL) range for this role when based in Italy is €50.000-€60.000. Salary is set individually for each candidate, based on objective, gender-neutral criteria such as experience, skills and scope of responsibility.
