pWe’re looking for an bAI Developer with a background in industrial automation and control systems /b to build AI-powered tools that help engineering teams analyze, understand, compare, and validate industrial control configurations. The ideal candidate combines software development skills in Python with knowledge of industrial control logic and an interest in applying LLMs to real-world industrial challenges. /p h3The role /h3 pYou’ll build AI tools that work on industrial control system configurations. You’ll use LLMs to read, explain, compare and validate control logic, and you’ll ship these tools as production services used by engineering teams. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liParse and structure control system configuration exports (XML and similar formats) so LLMs can reason over them /li liBuild LLM-based tools that explain control logic, alarms and I/O,
and that flag changes between configuration versions /li liGenerate technical documentation and checklists from control configurations /li liDevelop and deploy backend services in Python and FastAPI that integrate LLM APIs /li liWork with controls engineers to validate outputs and capture their know-how /li liTake part in client meetings to scope new use cases /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 h3bMust have /b /h3 ul liBackground in industrial automation or control systems (DCS, PLC or machine control), from work experience or academic projects /li li2+ years of software development experience, mainly in Python /li liGood understanding of control logic, sequencing, protections and I/O /li liComfort working with XML and structured data /li /ul h3bNice to have /b /h3 ul liExperience with FastAPI or other Python web frameworks /li liHands-on use of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock), prompt engineering or RAG /li liExperience with energy or power generation equipment /li liOther PLC/DCS platforms (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, IEC 61131-3) /li liExperience with Git, Docker and basic cloud deployment /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liA rare role at the intersection of controls engineering and generative AI /li liTraining and mentoring on the AI and software side from a senior team /li liReal production projects with enterprise clients /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
