ulliRate: Flexible based on relevant experience and availability /li /ulpbOverview /b /ppWe are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support a major pharmaceutical project based in Lombardy, Italy. This is an urgent requirement for a highly skilled engineering professional with a strong background in pharmaceutical process design and project execution. /ppThe successful candidate will play a key role in the engineering and design phases of the project, providing technical expertise and ensuring process solutions meet operational, regulatory, and quality requirements. /ppThis is initially a 9-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position. /ppbKey Responsibilities /b /pulliLead process engineering and design activities across project phases /liliDevelop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), PIDs, process calculations, and technical specifications /liliSupport conceptual, basic, and detailed design activities /liliCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders /liliEnsure designs comply with GMP requirements and pharmaceutical industry standards /liliConduct process evaluations, risk assessments, and engineering reviews /liliSupport equipment selection, sizing,
and process optimisation activities /liliProvide technical input during project meetings and design reviews /liliAssist with commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities where required /li /ulpbRequirements /b /pulliDegree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline /liliMinimum 8 years' process engineering experience within the pharmaceutical industry /liliStrong design engineering background with proven project delivery experience /liliExperience working within regulated GMP environments /liliKnowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facilities /liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills /liliAbility to work on-site or in a hybrid capacity in Lombardy, Italy /li /ulpbIdeal Candidate Profile /b /ppAn experienced Senior Process Engineer with 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally gained across major capital projects and engineering design programmes. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in process design, engineering studies, and project execution within GMP-regulated environments.
