Overview In this role you lead the regional applications engineering team across Europe, the North Sea and Caspian areas to deliver technically sound wellbore construction and lower completion solutions. You will align technical planning with client objectives and Baker Hughes standards, driving continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. You shape project execution, assess performance, and provide expert solutions to complex challenges.

preparation and validation of wellbore construction and lower completion activities Engage with clients to understand objectives and deliver tailored technical solutions Analyze job performance and drive product/process improvements; perform engineering modelling for hazards and incidents Collaborate with service delivery, sales and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Requisiti fondamentali ~10+ years in wellbore construction and lower completion ~5+ years in an applications engineering management role ~ Bachelor in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field ~ Strong understanding of wellbore construction, lower completions, and related technologies ~ Proficiency in product line modelling (e.g. hydraulics, torque and drag, tube move) ~ Proven leadership across cross-border engineering teams with good communication ~ Problem-solving ability for complex technical issues ~ Client-focused with experience in client interactions ~ Fluent in English; Italian proficiency preferred ~ Willingness to travel ~ strong communication and interpersonal skills ~ leadership and team development ~ client-focused mindset ~ wellbore construction ~ lower completions ~ product line modelling (hydraulics, torque and drag, tube move)
