Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a PDS Sterile Manufacturing Supervisor to lead production teams in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Italy. The role combines operational oversight of sterile processes with team leadership, ensuring compliance with cGMP and FDA standards while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily sterile manufacturing operations and coordinate production activities
Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and company quality standards
Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing team members
Review batch records, support investigations, and implement corrective actions
Identify and drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related STEM field
3+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing experience
2+ years supervisory or leadership experience in GMP-regulated environment
Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA requirements
Experience with aseptic processing and cleanroom operations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems
