tt group, in its Industrial division, specialized in the distribution of advanced industrial process analysis instrumentation, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer.
Where:
Padua Area (with commercial coverage of the whole Northern Italy).
Work arrangement:
Hybrid – full-time
In the field/At client sites (3-4 days a week, *****% travel time, mainly in Northern Italy);
Lavoro da remoto (1-2 days a week, dedicated to administrative and organizational activities)
Previous Experience:
3-5 years in technical-commercial roles related to industrial instrumentation or water treatment
Contract:
Permanent contract (with an initial probation period of 3-6 months).

What we are looking for (mandatory requirements):
Business development in Northern Italy (prospect identification, negotiation management, sales closing);
Post-sales technical support (installation, commissioning, operator training, and troubleshooting);
Continuous interface with foreign suppliers (Switzerland and Germany);
High school diploma or degree in a technical-scientific field (Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences);
Knowledge of chemical-physical water parameters, basic hydraulics, and ability to read electrical diagrams/P&IDs;
English language proficiency at B2-C1 level (essential daily use for calls, manuals, and training with foreign suppliers);
Operational autonomy, result orientation, and a "hands-on" approach in the field;
Residence in Veneto (preferred) and possession of a valid driving license (Category B);
Willingness to travel frequently.
Nice-to-have / Preferred assets:
Knowledge of the German language (B1 level or higher);
Master's degree or specialization in Water Management;
Knowledge of water regulations (Italian Legislative Decree ******, EU Dir. *********);
Previous experience with UV analyzers, turbidimeters, or bacterial load instruments (cytometry, ATP, BactoSense);
Already consolidated network among water utilities in Northern Italy;
Knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial protocols;
Experience in using CRMs (e.g., Odoo, Salesforce).
