/p pWe are seeking a technically gifted, innovative, and enthusiasticbDevOps Engineer /bto support the activities of the Core Services Team in the Data Centre Facility.
/p pbYour mission /bbr/As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of centralized IT systems and cloud-native infrastructure.
You will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to enable efficient and reliable software development and deployment processes.
/p pWorking in a collaborative team environment, you will support enterprise-grade Kubernetes and cloud platform capabilities, including microservices, virtualization, and container technologies.
You will ensure the scalability, security, and high availability of development, testing, and production environments.
/p pThe successful candidate will actively support the research community and collaborate closely with digital development, cybersecurity, and core services teams to enhance automation, efficiency, and service reliability.
/p pYou will report to the Core Services Manager.
/p pYou will enhance your professional skills by: /p h3CI/CD Automation /h3 ul liDesigning, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing, integration, and deployment.
/li liOptimizing build, release, and deployment processes to accelerate development cycles.
/li liEnsuring seamless integration across development, staging, and production environments.
/li liIntegrating automated security scans, compliance checks, and DevSecOps best practices into CI/CD pipelines.




/li liDeveloping and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
/li liAutomating provisioning, configuration management, scaling, and self-healing mechanisms.
/li liImplementing and supporting multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
/li liPlanning, deploying, configuring, and managing new and existing infrastructure systems.
/li liImplementing, administering, and maintaining Kubernetes (on-premises and cloud), Docker, and containerized workloads.
/li liEnsuring the health, scalability, performance, and reliability of Kubernetes, microservices, and related systems.
/li liMonitoring and optimizing system performance, resource utilization, and latency.
/li /ul h3Security, Reliability Operations /h3 ul liCollaborating with the Cybersecurity team to enforcing RBAC, secret management, encryption, and security best practices.
/li liDiagnosing and resolving infrastructure and CI/CD incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
/li liEnsuring high availability, fault tolerance, and operational continuity, including performing emergency maintenance.
/li /ul h3Documentation, Governance Support /h3 ul liMaintaining up-to-date technical and operational documentation.
/li liEnforcing DevOps standards, coding practices, and operational guidelines.
/li liProviding technical guidance, contributing to projects, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting broader DevOps, Linux, and Data Centre operations as needed.

/p h3What you'll bring /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent experience.
/li liMinimum of 3 years in DevOps,



cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
/li liProficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
/li liDeep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
/li liBasic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
/li liStrong scripting and automation skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
/li liProblem-solving mindset with a focus on scalability, security, and efficiency.
/li liAbility to collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
/li liGood English communication skills, both written and spoken.
/li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate /li liITIL certification /li /ul h3Organizational and social skills /h3 ul liStrong communication skills, given the multicultural nature of our team.
