We are looking forward to getting to know you and soon welcome you as part of our team in Arbatax as : Executive Chef Borgo January 2027 We are seeking a talented, innovative, and highly operational Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of Borgo. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, a passion for authentic gastronomy, and the ability to elevate the culinary identity of the resort while ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. This role will be instrumental in building a stronger culinary offering, creating memorable dining experiences, enhancing the resort's food reputation, and developing a high-performing kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute the culinary strategy for all Borgo dining outlets.
* Build a stronger culinary identity that reflects the destination while incorporating international standards and innovation.
* Design and continuously enhance menus, concepts, and guest dining experiences.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen brigade, fostering a culture of excellence and creativity.
* Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency.
* Manage food cost, labor cost, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control.
* Collaborate closely with F&B; leadership to drive guest satisfaction and revenue performance.
* Develop signature culinary events, themed experiences, and seasonal offerings.
* Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and HACCP regulations.
* Support talent recruitment and succession planning within the culinary team. Candidate Profile
* Proven experience as Executive Chef in luxury resorts, five-star hotels, or high-end restaurant operations.
* Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
* Demonstrated success in elevating culinary concepts and food quality standards.
* Passion for local products, sustainability, and authentic guest experiences.
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing food and labor costs.
* Creativity combined with operational discipline.
* Fluent English required; additional languages are an advantage.
* International hospitality experience preferred.
