Varnum LLP seeks to hire an attorney to join the Litigation Practice Team in our Naples, FL office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing office of a highly regarded Michigan-based law firm with a national client base. The firm will provide financial support to attorney candidates outside of Florida that are interested in taking the Florida bar and relocating to Southwest Florida.

We are seeking candidates with 20+ years of significant experience in business and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling trials, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings in a lead role. Strong skills in arguing motions, taking and defending depositions (including expert witnesses), participating in ADR procedures, and exceptional research and writing abilities are required. Experience with construction defect litigation is preferred.





The successful candidate will demonstrate proven business development success, including a substantial portable book of business. Candidates should have the ability to manage complex files, supervise client relationships, and lead commercial cases. Successful candidates will possess a high level of responsiveness, exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding customer/client service skills.

Admission to the Florida bar is required; candidates not licensed to practice in Florida must be willing to become admitted to the Florida bar. The firm will provide relocation support to candidates interested in moving to Southwest Florida and reimburse expenses related to bar admission.
