Varnum LLP seeks to hire an attorney to join the Estate Planning Practice Team in our Naples, FL office.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in joining a growing office of a highly regarded Michigan-based law firm with a national client base. The firm will provide financial support to attorney candidates outside of Florida that are interested in taking the Florida bar and relocating to Southwest Florida.

We are seeking candidates with 10+ years of significant experience in estate planning matters. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience representing high net-worth individuals, providing sophisticated legal advice relating to estate planning, tax and transfer planning, and business succession planning. The candidate will also have experience with trust and estate administration and knowledge of general business and trust and estate planning matters.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proven business development experience,



including a meaningful portable book of business with additional growth potential. Candidates should have the ability to provide general oversight on projects assigned to junior attorneys and manage client relationships. Successful candidates will possess excellent academic credentials; the ability to simultaneously juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of responsiveness; exceptional attention to detail; and outstanding customer/client service skills.

Admission to the Florida bar is required; candidates not licensed to practice in Florida must be willing to become admitted to the Florida bar. The firm will provide relocation support to candidates interested in moving to Southwest Florida and reimburse expenses related to bar admission.
