About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Proposal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical background and experience in the field of Rotating Equipment , with a particular focus on compressors, industrial fans and air handling systems, ideally developed in industries such as energy, oil & gas, heavy industry, or large-scale industrial equipment manufacturing. As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing technical-commercial proposals, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring that our solutions meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed technical-commercial proposals for rotating machinery.
- Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to ensure that product specifications meet client needs and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and consultation throughout the sales process and after product delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive products to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years experience in technical sales, preferably in the field of rotating equipment such as industrial fans, compressors, turbines, blowers, or pumps.
- Strong understanding of rotating machinery principles and technology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
- Knowledge of English language.
