Creative Design Intern in a nutshell The position will be part of our Raffaello Research Center (RRC), one of Huawei's research centers committed to enhancing the quality of Huawei products by creating a strong design ecosystem. As a Creative Design Intern at RRC, you'll support the creative team in developing visual identities, brand systems, and communication assets while contributing to the visual direction of research-driven and innovation-focused projects. You will have an opportunity to work on strategic design challenges where branding is not just about aesthetics, but about creating coherent, meaningful, and future-oriented visual ecosystems. The studio is located in Milan, Italy, one of Europe’s most dynamic and international cities. Design visual identities for brands, products, and innovation initiatives. Create logos, color systems, typography, iconography, and visual guidelines. Build mood boards, visual narratives, and creative references. Support art direction for campaigns, presentations, and concept communication. Research visual trends, emerging aesthetics, and cultural signals.
Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual communication. Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Branding, or a related field. Strong portfolio demonstrating branding and graphic design projects. Experience creating logos, identity systems, iconography, editorial layouts. Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) Interest in visual storytelling, photography, and creative direction. Ability to create mood boards and define visual languages and concepts. Curious mindset and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, design research, and innovation. Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams. Fluent in English. Motion graphics or animation skills. Illustration. AI-assisted creative workflows. Basic photography or image editing. Knowledge of automotive or product design ecosystems.
