Then come work with us and be part of MSC’s family /p pMSC Technology Italia is seeking a bData Scientist /bto support analytics, modelling, and data driven innovation across our telecom, IoT, radio engineering, and industrial operations domains. /p pYou will work closely with RAN engineers, internetworking engineers, open-source telecom developers, radio propagation specialists, and maintenance/process engineers to extract insights from heterogeneous data sources—ranging from wireless network performance, IoT telemetry, RF measurements, and maintenance logs to sensor data and digital manufacturing systems. /p pThis role is ideal for someone who is passionate about turning complex engineering datasets into actionable intelligence, predictive models, and optimized decision-making tools. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ulliAnalyse large scale and time series datasets to generate insights and support business decisions. /liliDevelop, train, and validate predictive and machine learning models. /liliBuild and maintain data models and reusable analytical pipelines. /liliCollaborate closely with the data team as well as software developers and hardware/IoT engineering teams. /liliTranslate business requirements into technical deliverables by working with business analysts and stakeholders. /liliPresent findings and provide clear recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
/liliEnsure delivery of high-quality outputs within defined timelines and be able to work under pressure when needed. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field. /lili3+ years of experience in a data science role. /liliStrong Python and SQL skills. /liliSolid background in time-series and large-scale data analysis, predictive modelling and machine learning. /liliHands-on experience with PySpark and working in Databricks. /liliExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. /liliKnowledge of Agile development methodologies. /liliFamiliarity with Azure cloud services and version control using Git. /liliStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. /liliStrong analytical skills and high attention to detail. /liliGood communication and ability to collaborate effectively in cross functional teams. /liliFluency in English (both spoken and written). /liliWillingness to learn new technologies and develop new skills. /li /ul h3Considered a Plus /h3 ulliKnowledge of IoT ecosystems or telecommunication/network protocols. /liliFamiliarity with Microsoft Fabric or Scala. /liliFamiliarity with MLOps practices. /li /ul h3What
