The Role
We are looking for a very organised and flexible junior lawyer (avvocato) or CPA (commercialista) to join our Private Client and Tax department, in Padua.
Key Elements Of The Role Include
- Legal research
- Document management, review and analysis
- Drafting of tax and legal Memorandum
- Assisting in preparing pitches and tenders and in aspects of business development
- Assisting with client events
- Produce accurate, high-quality work quickly and efficiently, using the firm's software packages and document management systems
- Upon request, preparing first drafts of terms of engagement letters; using electronic file opening,
ensuring anti-money laundering requirements are adhered to and requesting necessarily Know Your Client documentation
- Providing effective and proactive communication with clients, legal staff and other support staff, organising meetings, answering the phone, taking messages, managing e-mail, etc.
- Resolving accounting queries and producing monthly bills using Elite (finance and time recording system)
- General administrative duties

Required Skills And Experience
- Excellent academics (not less than 100/110)
- Fluent Italian and English communication skills are mandatory (English proficiency equal to a C1 is a must)
- Qualified avvocato or commercialista
- Ideally 1-2 years of work experience in tax (prior experience in private client and wealth management will be considered a plus)
- Enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills
- Teamwork is vital and you will often work alongside with colleagues in our overseas offices
- Strong IT skills (e.g. Word & Excel)
