Accounting and Tax Manager

We are strengthening our Financial Reporting & Tax team and are looking for a qualified professional who would like to take on technical responsibility in an international family-owned company. In this role, you will work at the interface of accounting, financial reporting, and tax, contributing with high quality and reliability to a smooth closing and reporting process.
YOUR TASKS
- Responsibility for the ongoingaccounting of assigned entities – including accurate and timely recordingof all business transactions, account reconciliations, and ensuringreadiness for financial closing
- Preparation of monthly,quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with nationalaccounting standards – with a strong focus on quality, meeting deadlines,and robust closing documentation
- Accounting and valuation topics– particularly in the areas of fixed assets, provisions, and accruals,including validation, documentation, and coordination with relevantstakeholders
- Execution of intercompanyreconciliations and clarification of discrepancies, as well as support inthe allocation and posting of intercompany services
- Participation in thepreparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements,including consolidation entries, particularly intercompany eliminationsand equity valuations
- Support with tax-relatedmatters, the implementation and documentation of transfer pricingguidelines, and the preparation for audits and tax inspections
- Maintenance and furtherdevelopment of consolidation and reporting tools in close collaborationwith IT, Controlling, and external partners
- Active contribution to processimprovements, standardization, and digitalization within the Financefunction
YOUR PROFILE
- Degree in BusinessAdministration (with a focus on accounting, finance, or taxation) orcommercial training with a relevant additional qualification
- Minimum of 4–5 years ofrelevant professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, or tax
- Very good MS Office skills,especially Excel; experience with SAP and ideally withconsolidation/reporting tools such as Tagetik is an advantage
- Strong analytical mindset, highlevel of accuracy, quality awareness, and a structured, independent way ofworking
- Team-oriented, reliable, andmotivated to work in an international environment with diversestakeholders
- Fluent in German (written and spoken), with good knowledge of Italian and English
- Advantageous: experience inimproving efficiency and digitalizing processes, as well as working withforeign subsidiaries and internal group interfaces

In accordance with EU Directive 2023/970 on pay transparency, the starting salary for this position is €50,000 gross per year. Depending on your qualifications, professional experience, skills, and the scope of responsibilities you bring to the role, the final compensation package may be adjusted accordingly.
