Cost Controller

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join an infrastructure project in Sardinia, Italy. This is an excellent opportunity for a cost control professional with experience in construction or infrastructure projects to contribute to financial performance, cost monitoring, and effective project delivery.

Key responsibilities
* Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments, and actual expenditure.
* Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
* Track project progress and assess its financial impact.
* Coordinate with project management, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
* Identify cost deviations, financial risks, and opportunities for cost optimisation.
* Support cash flow forecasting, budget revisions, and financial reporting.




* Assist with subcontractor cost control, change orders, and variation tracking.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in cost control within infrastructure, civil engineering, or large-scale construction projects (1-3 years).
* Knowledge of project budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Experience with cost analysis, variance reporting, and change management.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and project cost management tools is an advantage.
* Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
* Fluency in Italian; English language skills are an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
