Senior Structural Engineer | Space

An opportunity to take technical ownership of structural analysis, design verification and qualification for advanced space systems.

You’ll work across the product lifecycle, supporting key design decisions, solving complex structural challenges and ensuring structural integrity through to qualification.

The role includes:

- Leading structural analysis and design verification
- Developing and validating finite element models (FEMs)
- Supporting structural design and optimisation
- Correlating analysis with experimental test data
- Supporting vibration and shock qualification testing
- Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams




- Ensuring designs meet relevant standards and project requirements

We’re looking for:
- 5–8+ years’ experience in structural analysis within space or aerospace
- Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, dynamics and FEA
- Experience with Femap/Nastran, ANSYS, Abaqus or equivalent xysqume
- Experience developing and correlating FEMs against test results
- Experience with vibration and shock testing
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
