pbAbout the position: /bThis position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the La Bella Vista Club. /ppThis is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy. bWho May Apply: Open to everyone. /bApplicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 11/02/2026 /ppThe Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens or NATO country citizens with a valid US permanent resident card and Social Security Number. In accordance with the Status of Forces agreement between Italy and the US, you must be at Aviano AB on orders and be a US citizen or citizen of a NATO country with a US permanent resident card. Italian citizens may not apply for US NAF positions; however, may be eligible for local national positions on base. Must be able to provide documentation proving residence status overseas. Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country. /ppThe 31ST Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support. Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB.

Experience:
/b /ppMust have experience in and knowledge of methods and procedures relating to food preparation and presentation gained in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, club or similar food activity. /ppAbility to follow oral and written instructions, work safely, and do simple arithmetic. /ppKnowledge of operating and cleaning food service equipment, characteristics of various foods, and the ability to season food and decide when foods are done is required. /p
