ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Technical Sales Sr. Specialist to support the growth of our Electronics & Connection Systems (ECS) business. In this role, you will combine technical expertise and customer engagement to develop new business opportunities and deliver innovative solutions to leading automotive customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Act as the main technical interface between Yazaki and assigned customers.
* Build strong relationships with OEM and Tier supplier engineering teams.
* Identify new business opportunities and support product promotion and design-in activities.
* Translate customer requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with Engineering and Product Lines.
* Lead the technical scope of RFQs and support customer negotiations.
* Follow projects from opportunity identification through product launch.
* Monitor market trends, customer roadmaps, and emerging technologies to anticipate future opportunities. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or equivalent
* 3-5 years of experience in: Automotive industry (OEM, Tier 1 or Tier 2), Technical Sales, Application Engineering, or Product Development, Direct customer interaction with Engineering teams
* Strong knowledge of automotive electrical/electronic systems
* Fluent in English and Italian
* French language skills are considered a plus
* Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
* Availability to travel (20%).
