The Role We're looking for an experienced Account Manager to manage assigned accounts and establish new business in designated territories. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving contract renewals, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and generating new business opportunities. This role reports directly to the SVP of Revenue and requires presence in our Milan office.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
* Manage and nurture relationships with assigned accounts
* Conduct regular customer meetings and reviews to understand business needs and satisfaction
* Lead contract renewals and negotiations
* Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
* Ensure customer success and drive retention
* Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) New Business Development
* Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territories
* Proactively reach out to prospects via email, calls, and social platforms
* Build and nurture pipeline of qualified prospects
* Close new business deals in assigned territories What We’re Looking For Experience
* 3+ years in account management, sales, or business development, preferably in technology/SaaS
* Experience managing mid-market accounts or a portfolio of customers
* Familiarity with video streaming, CDN, or media technologies is a plus Skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Fluent in English and Italian (required)
* Strong business development and lead generation skills
* Strong negotiation and contract management abilities
* CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive renewals Personal Attributes
