We are looking for a motivated and experienced Early Years teacher, you will be responsible for teaching our youngest students assigned to your class, with excellent classroom practice, positive collaborative, and a willingness to support the wider life of the school. Delivering the IB Early Childhood Programme, you will ensure that planning, preparation, assessment and reports meet the expectations of the school. Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge ensure that lessons are relevant, engaging and fit for purpose. Teaching and Learning Promote the ‘mission’ and philosophy of the school, ensuring that children are working towards being true global citizens. Be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development plans and growth. Implement agreed school policies and developments. Demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach, and assess effectively. Meet requirements for the assessment, evaluation, and recording of students’ development. Use the student tracking and monitoring processes to advance children’s learning in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities. Mark and monitor student work providing clear constructive feedback and steps for improvement. Take responsibility for and contribute to professional development as well as actively engaging in performance management, lesson appraisals and peer observations. Effectively communicate the school's key messages and values, be an ambassador for our school at all times.
Your Profile
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Bachelor of Education degree (or equivalent) Qualified Teacher Status or international teaching qualification Qualified to teach children of the Early Years Stage. EXPERIENCE & PREFERRED
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience teaching in an Early Years/Elementary International school.
PYP teaching experience in Early Years Familiarity with the Italian Paritaria and/or experience working in a Paritaria school Demonstrates creativity and a passion for teaching and a strong work ethic. Experience with innovative teaching and learning A passion for providing outstanding teaching Be a reflective practitioner and continually strive to improve performance Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and mediation skills Commitment to the mission and vision of the school, the academic and co-curricular directions Be enthusiastic, energetic, and able to nurture unique learning experiences for students.
